BRENTFORD'S Jay Tabb was hit in the face by a cigarette lighter thrown from the crowd as his side were rocked by two late strikes.
The object hit Tabb as he was walking off the field after being substituted in the 82nd minute and left him left dazed on the ground.
Despite the incident, Brentford manager Martin Allen was gracious in praise of the team that prevented his side from going top of the table.
He said: 'This is a smashing place to come, Huddersfield are a great club with very passionate supporters and unfortunately one or two of them let them down.
