BEIJING, Sept 20 Asia Pulse - China's electronic production equipment industry generated 2.04 billion yuan (US$253 million) in total value in the first half of 2005, growing by 7.54 per cent year on year, 2.26 percentage points lower than the growth in the same period of 2004, according to the China Electronic Production Equipment Association (CEPEA).

Of the amount, 1.421 billion yuan came from the electronic production equipment sector and the special electronic tool and mould sector, growing by 6.51 per cent year on year.
