Sep. 21--They're keeping the ever-popular Frango Mints, but Federated Department Stores Inc. has decided to send another one of the most fabled names in American retailing -- Marshall Field's -- to the boneyard in fall 2006.

The Cincinnati department store giant said Tuesday it will rename the last 62 Marshall Field's stores as Macy's as part of its recently completed $11-billion purchase of May Department Stores Inc.

In the latest chapter of the Federated-led consolidation of the shrinking department store industry, the retail chain also disclosed:
