The Israel Investment Center has approved eight projects to build new factories or expand existing ones, at a combined total investment of $25.7 million. One of the projects approved is a new sewage treatment plant in Ma'aleh Ephraim. The plant will treat effluent containing hazardous waste, and will supply the treated material to industry in Israel and abroad.
