CAMP HILL, Pa. -- Rite Aid (NYSE, PCX:RAD) announced today that the company opened two Rite Aid sites on Wednesday, September 21 in the greater New Orleans area that were affected by Hurricane Katrina. Twenty-two Rite Aid stores remain closed.
The Rite Aid store located at 4936 Veterans Memorial Boulevard in Metairie is operating out of a mobile pharmacy trailer and the Rite Aid store at 4300 West Esplanade Avenue in Metairie opened today and is serving the communities' prescription and merchandise needs.
