Fuel prices in Hungary rise 3-4% in first weeks of September, but MOL ready to cut again
Budapest. September 21. INTERFAX-EUROPE - Hungarian fuel prices continued to rise dynamically in the first two weeks of September, following international price movements selectively and with a slight delay, according to data published by the economy ministry Tuesday.
However, with MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas Company preparing a price cut, and with VAT on fuel set to decrease as of October 1, vehicle fuel prices in Hungary may have peaked for the time being.
