KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Two superb first-half corner kicks by Landon Donovan appeared to have the Galaxy set for their second Major League Soccer victory outside Southern California this season, an achievement that would bolster its efforts to finish second in the Western Conference - prime territory come playoff time.
As has happened too many times this year, L.A. couldn't hold on, surrendering a two-goal lead in the final 10 minutes and settling for a 2-2 draw with the Kansas City Wizards in front of 12,368 at Arrowhead Stadium.
