SOME of the first words I heard were 'hakuna matata'. No, I hadn't wandered onto the set of The Lion King , but had just arrived on the exotic island of Zanzibar, where, believe it or not, hakuna matata really does mean 'no worries' in the official language, Swahili.
The phrase was to set the tone for my stay on this tranquil island.
Even the name, Zanzibar, bespeaks paradise.
