Michael Flatley was hearing the phrase "Celtic Tiger" everywhere.
"People kept referring to Ireland's economic success over the past decade as the `Celtic Tiger,' " the 47-year old dancer/choreographer explained from his home in Cork, Ireland.
"But for me, that financial success is just an example of how Ireland succeeds in overcoming obstacles. And that idea kept brewing in my head."
