Most everyone had a ritual.
It didn't matter if you lived in downtown Denver, upstate New York or the projects of Texarkana, Ark., whether you were into Pop Warner or pop music or answered to the name "Pops."
For generations of Americans, Monday Night Football was the original must-see TV.
