DALLAS, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- TXU Electric Delivery reports that the number of homes and business without power System-wide is less than 70,000, down from 130,000 at the height of the storm.
"Our employees and contractors are now restoring electric service after completing damage assessment and tree-trimming efforts," said Brenda Pulis, senior vice president, TXU Electric Delivery. "In some of the less damaged communities, we're down to repairs at individual homes and businesses."
Approximately 800 TXU Electric Delivery employees and contractors have been redeployed to East Texas, specifically in Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Jacksonville, Palestine and ...
