INDIANAPOLIS -- Sharp will use CEDIA Expoto present two new DLP front projectors and unveil an expanded AQUOS LCD-TV lineup, including a lower-priced tier of fully integrated HDTV models.

In front projectors, the company will show a new high-definition 720p model in the SharpVision XV-Z12000 Mark II (shipping in October at a $10,999.99 suggested retail). The projector offers enhancements over the previous model, including a 7,000:1 contrast ratio and 1,000 ANSI lumens of brightness. The projector is powered by Texas Instruments' 1,280 by 720 pixel Dark Chip3 DLP chip and Sharp's proprietary Computer & Video Integrated Composer (CV-IC II) System technology.
