Like the town of Pelham in which it is located, the 1.2-square-mile village of Pelham Manor is seeking further develop in its commercial and industrial communities in order to generate tax revenue and attract residents. The village will present plans early next year to develop the 16-acre Rusciano property on Pelham Parkway and Route 1 (Boston Post Road), with plans to replace 370,000 square feet of industrial and warehouse buildings with an up-to-$33 million retail-commercial center that would generate both revenue and interest in the community.
