CHICAGO -- Fitch Ratings has affirmed the international local and foreign currency ratings of Compania General de Electricidad S.A. (CGE) at 'A-'. The long-term national scale corporate rating has also been affirmed at 'AA(Chl)'. The Rating Outlook is Stable.
The ratings and Outlook of CGE reflect the inherent strengths of CGE's Chilean electricity and gas businesses while recognizing the effect of Argentine volatility on its operating results and cash flow.
