MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -- North East Waste Services, Inc. announced today that it has received the required regulatory approvals for the expansion of its landfill in Moretown, Vermont.
The Vermont Agency of Natural Resources has issued a permit modification allowing the Company to construct a new 14.2 acre cell in addition to the 13 acre cell currently being operated at its Moretown Landfill. The landfill continues to be permitted to accept up to 600 tons per day with an annual maximum of 172,000 tons.
