Beleaguered multi-manager firm, MM Asset Management, has been acquired by Investment Manager Selection (IMS) in a deal which has caused irreparable rifts between MM founding directors.
Following Threadneedle Asset Management's transfer of MM shares to IMS, Derrick Dunne, director of MM, will not move over to the new firm, leaving co-founder Guy Davies to represent the multi-manager's interests.
Dunne's decision not to join IMS will come as a major blow to the firm following the recent departures of Alan Bartlett, director of research; Nick Slater, director of marketing and client service; and Nicholas Robert-Nicoud, responsible for new business ...
