The e.coli bug is spreading despite reassurances that it has reached its peak.

A pupil at a school in Penarth was today confirmed as the latest victim of the food poisoning bug - miles from the centre of the original outbreak.

The number of cases has now reached 117. 'THE WORST IS OVER': The worst of the e.coli bug is over.

That is the message from Welsh Health Minister Dr Brian Gibbons today despite a new case in a new county.

The bug has now spread to Penarth in the Vale of Glamorgan. It ...
