THE family of Brazilian electrician Jean Charles de Menezes arrived in Britain yesterday demanding "justice", as more details emerged of the botched operation in which he was shot dead.
The 27-year-old's parents, Matozinhos Otone Da Silva and Maria Otone de Menezes, flew into Heathrow from Rio de Janeiro amid tight security.
Flanked by Jean Charles's brother Giovani and his wife and three children, a tearful Mrs de Menezes told reporters through an interpreter: "We are searching for justice. I want the police to be punished."
Asked what he wanted to achieve from the two-week visit, Mr Da Silva merely repeated: "Justice, justice, justice."
