When the farm crisis of the 1980s hit the Midwest, church leader pumped out reams of position papers on farming and Christian stewardship, often railing against the giant agribusinesses that were fast making family farms a thing of the past. Now those church leaders are being asked by an Iowa-based group to back up their teaching with action.
