United Musical Instruments, parent company of Armstrong, Artley, Benge, Conn, King, and Scherl & Roth, recently dedicated a new visitor center at its manufacturing facility in Eastlake, Ohio. The center displays some of the over 270 different band and orchestral instruments manufactured by U.M.I. A gala celebration was attended to members of the press, local officials, and top executives from U.M.I. Also present were Bill Everitt Jr. from Brook Mays Music in Dallas, representing NAMM, and Bill Harvey from Buddy Rogers Music in Cincinnati, representing the National Association of School Music Dealers.
