NEW YORK -- Members of two key textile groups are having second thoughts about supporting the North American Free Trade Agreement, which has received considerable backing in the industry.
In the latest development, disputes over the proposed pact, which would link the U.S., Mexico and Canada into a free trade zone, has prompted the Textile Distributors Association to put the question of support directly to its membership in a vote being tallied this week.
