FuelCell Energy (Jerry Leitman, CEO, 3 Great Pasture Road, Danbury, CT 06813; Tel: 203/825-6000; eMail: jleitman@fce.com; www.fuelcellenergy.com) reported revenues of $4.9 million for the third fiscal quarter of 2005, compared to $3.6 million in the same period of 2004. Total fiscal year sales amount to $23.3 million, down from $25.4 million in the first three quarters of 2004.

The companys cost-of-sales ratio expanded to 2.8 to 1, compared to 2.7 to 1 in the same quarter of 2004, which has been attributed to costs of manufacturing power plants for power purchase agreements.

R&D revenue dropped to $3.9 million, compared to $4.4 million in a comparable ...
