SUNNYVALE, Calif., Oct. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Trident Technologies, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Trident Microsystems, Inc. , a worldwide leader in developing advanced digital TV technology for the consumer digital video marketplace, today announced that Changhong, one of China's leading television Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), is using Trident's SVP EX with DCRe(TM) to power its new digital CRT TVs for the Chinese marketplace. The models include the CHD29200 and CHD 34200 short-tube CRTs; the CHD32200 16:9 CRT; and the CHD29188 and CHD34188 4:8 CRTs. The sets are now in mass production.
