Another 33.8 acres became a part of Florence this week when city officials agreed to annex the property to allow a developer to build 344 upscale condominiums and townhouses off Hopeful Church Road.
Council by a unanimous 6-0 vote Tuesday passed ordinances approving the zone change.
The development is called Three Fountains, across from Surfwood Drive and next to the Florence Church of God, said Florence Assistant City Coordinator Rick Lunnemann.
The developer, Gallenstein Cos. LLC of Crestview Hills, is building the development -- 238 condominiums and 106 townhouses -- with a density of 10 ...
