SAN DIEGO, Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year the San Diego Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation has planned a number of local events in which San Diegans can participate to show their support and help promote breast cancer awareness in San Diego County.
San Diego golf lovers are invited to participate in the first ever Swing for the Cure hosted by Komen San Diego and US 95.7 FM. The event takes place Thursday, October 6, 2005 at the Carlton Oaks Golf Course in Santee; tee-time is noon.
