SILVER CHEFS: Three-star chef Alain Passard, from Paris' renowned Arpege restaurant, has stepped into the world of design with unusual flatware realized by Christofle, the French silversmith. Known for his passion for vegetables, Passard came up with a design inspired by his garden utensils: the pruning knife and the garden fork. Though made of silver, they are light and fun to use. The two-piece set retails for 145 euros, or $175 at current exchange, at Christofle stores worldwide. The collaboration will continue with a dish and a saucer.
