This summer wasn't exactly a scorcher, but at least it was better than last year's washout. This should have helped sales of AG Barr's soft drinks - which include Irn Bru and Tizer. But management has already cautioned investors about the intense competition within the UK fizzy drinks market. It will be interesting to hear what the company has to say when it announces its half-year figures on Tuesday.
