In a pact with L.A.'s own Kitson, formerly hip Skechers U.S.A. is releasing a line of women's and girls' sneakers bearing the name of the trend-setting Robertson Boulevard boutique beloved by Nicky Hilton and Gwen Stefani. We applaud Kitson for what can only be regarded as a supremely charitable fashion gesture.
The Breakfast Cereal Gourmet, by L.A. author David Hoffman, enlists some of the country's most celebrated chefs to create such recipes as Frosted Flakes banana pancakes, Lucky Charmed Utah lamb, and the decadent Mocha-Cocoa towers. That's all fine, but the true piece de resistance is the Grape Nuts-garnished tomato gratin.
