Troy-based Automation Alley and newly formed Ann Arbor Spark separately are reorganizing, evaluating operations and working to keep and lure technology companies and jobs to Southeast Michigan.
Spark, for example, hopes to double the number of tech companies and triple the number of tech workers in the Ann Arbor area by 2010.
