CHICAGO, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chicago Historical Society, University of Chicago and the Center for the Study of Race, Politics and Culture present the film screening of Oscar Micheaux's Within Our Gates: Lynching and the Black Aesthetic in Early Cinema on Friday, October 21, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. The screening will be at the University of Chicago Film Studies Center at Cobb Hall, 5811 South Ellis Avenue, Room 307.
