NEW YORK _ The animals growl and hiss, but they don't bite. It's even OK to feed them.
"Back in `02, I gave up that home run to Bernie Williams in Game1 in Yankee Stadium," said Angels reliever Brendan Donnelly, referring to another Division Series. "We came out the next night and the guys in the bleachers saw me and gave me a standing ovation.
"Then some of them started wanting a ball. I said, hey, what do you want? I deposited a ball for you last night. But the fans there are great. That place and Boston. That's where they really know the game and, if they give you a hard time, you just try to have some fun with it."
