Article: Sinopec increases the ex-factory price of naphtha.(Revaluation)(China Petroleum and Chemical Corp.)

According to the information from Xinhua News Agency, on Sept. 1 Sinopec increased the ex-factory price of naphtha in all its refineries by RMB640 per ton from RMB4 330 per ton to RMB4 970 per ton. An employee from Sinopec Shanghai Sales Company tells the reporter that there are no great changes in the ex-factory prices of gasoline and diesel.

The price readjustment made by Sinopec is mainly intended to improve the economic performance in refineries and also stop the blending of naphtha into gasoline in some dealers.
