MAHWAH, N.J. -- Sharp Electronics Corporation announced the appointment of Stewart Mitchell to Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). In this newly created position, Mr. Mitchell will oversee companywide strategic planning and execution. As part of this, he will manage five corporate divisions: Business Transformation, Corporate Planning, Strategic Marketing & Communications, Legal, and Environmental Affairs. Mr. Mitchell will report to Toshihiko Fujimoto, Chairman and CEO, Sharp Electronics Corporation.
