So you want to talk about pit bulls, eh? Fine with me. I've got lots to say.
I find it noteworthy that after a 2 -year-old Suffolk boy was chewed to death by one - or perhaps two - pit-bull mixes on Monday, scores of indignant pit bull lovers fired off angry messages. Many that came to me didn't even mention the death of the little boy.
Odd.
The last thing little Jonathan Martin knew on this earth was that he was being savaged by a vicious animal in his own home. Think about that for a minute. It must have been terrifying. One of the neighbors who saw him being carried to the ambulance said the child looked like "a big, bloody ball."
