Just two weeks before Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast, Northrop Grumman [NOC] and the Air Force considered a scenario using the Global Hawk unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) featuring a category five hurricane and the Gulf Coast, according to a company official.
