Dhaka, Oct 10 (UNB) - Opposition political parties rejected the Prime Minister's nationwide address as what they said a futile exercise in painting a rosy picture trying to conceal her failures in curbing terrorism, corruption and soaring prices.
"Her speech is a manifestation of total failures in tackling law and order, terrorism, corruption and price hike," Awami League general secretary Abdul Jalil MP said in his instant comment to UNB on the PM's speech broadcast over radio and television Monday evening.
