Two US unions are trying to get the attention of the Northwest Airlines flight attendants.

The Transportation Workers Union has reportedly said that it intends to get a mail-in vote by Northwest flight attendants, who have so far also received cards from the Association of Flight Attendants. If more than 50% of the flight attendants vote for a new union, an election would be called for.
