QUEZON City is an example of a grand vision that was made into a reality. President Manuel L. Quezon dreamed of a city that would be the Philippines' seat of government and the showplace of the nation's culture and spirit. The National Assembly passed Act No 502 and President Quezon signed it on October 12, 1939, thus creating from the vast cogonal lands of the Tuason Family's Diliman Estate the city that now bears his name.
