LIQUIDATORS of The Accident Group have recovered pounds 11m from the collapsed personal injury firm, it was revealed yesterday.

The company went into administration in May 2003, leaving 2,500 workers redundant and owing more than pounds 100m to former staff and creditors.

Staff at The Accident Group were told of their jobs loss by text message. Meanwhile, chairman of the group, Mark Langford, was reportedly sitting on a pounds 75m personal fortune in his luxurious Cheshire mansion.
