CITY OF INDUSTRY, CALIF. -- A battery for the latest Hewlett-Packard notebook, from Battery Technology, has an upgraded circuit board for increased shelf life, and is designed to hold a charge for 12 months. Model HP-DV1000 is a replacement for lithium-ion batteries for both HP and Compaq notebooks.
