As co-founder and co-producer of Designers & Agents, Barbara Kramer has a sharp eye for identifying talent featured in the trade show that runs 12 times a year in Los Angeles, New York and Tokyo.
She also has vast experience in the apparel industry. Prior to starting D&A in 1997 with Ed Mandelbaum, Kramer spent two decades representing lines such as Paul & Joe and Tocca out of showrooms bearing her name in New York and Los Angeles. She also designed knits for Cashmere Studio. She moved to Los Angeles four years ago, but still spends as many as eight weeks a year in New York.
