QUESTION Which old wives' tales could be said to be factually correct?
THE old wives' tale that suggests how a child will turn out based on the day of the week on which they were born may not be all it's cracked up to be.
A check on the birthdays of a few well-known people produces the following: Monday's child is fair of face: Jack Dee born Monday, September 24, 1962; Frank Skinner born Monday, January 28, 1957; and Mick Jagger born Monday, July 26, 1943.
Tuesday's child is full of grace: John Prescott born Tuesday, May 31, 1938; Paul O'Grady (aka Lily Savage) born Tuesday, June 14, 1955; Max ...
