A story Oct. 13 in Neighbors about Corey L. Mitchell Sr., the first African-American man named to the Onondaga Community College Board of Trustees, misspelled the first name of one of his daughters. Her name is Imani, not Imami. It also incorrectly said Mitchell is a youth counselor at the Dunbar Center in Syracuse. He formerly served as a counselor at the center, but no longer does. Mitchell is a sixth-grade teacher at Roxboro Road Middle School.
