ISLAMABAD, October 13 (PPI): The federal cabinet on Thursday decided to set up tented villages to provide immediate housing for the earthquake affectees and to ensure provision of medical care and other facilities to them. In this connection due coordination between the government of AJK and NWFP will be undertaken by the chief relief commissioner of the federal government.The cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, also directed that damage assessment report should be given necessary priority so that steps for compensation and rehabilitation of the affectees can be undertaken quickly.
