As Liberia struggles to recover from years of decay and civil conflict, the country's most famous son has emerged as the most likely victor in the presidential elections scheduled for 11 October. Former Fifa World Footballer of the Year and probably the most famous Liberian in history, George Weah hopes to provide the leadership and direction to return his country to some semblance of normality.
