A DRUG that combats the effects of bird flu in humans is being sold on eBay as panic mounts over the spread of the disease.
Tamiflu first appeared on the online auction site for [pounds sterling]1 - and 24 hours later bidders had pushed the price up to [pounds sterling]104.
New cases of the virus were confirmed in the Danube delta today near Romania's border with Ukraine. Bird deaths were also being investigated in neighbouring Serbia.
Poultry exports are set to be banned from parts of Greece later today after the first cases of avian flu were confirmed within the EU's borders.
