Article: New Delhi, Oct 18 (PTI): Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has asked the Finance Ministry to direct the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development to create a separate financing window for schemes under Bharat Nirman, the ambitious rural infras tructure programme of the UPA government.

Singh, during a meeting on rural infrastructure held recently, said the NABARD should be asked to create a separate window to bridge the funding gap in rural roads and irrigation works components of Bharat Nirman, says an official release.
