THURLES Sarsfields coach Ger Cunningham has urged Tipperary chiefs to hand the captaincy of the county senior hurling team to Ger 'Redser' O'Grady.
Cunningham placed his faith in O'Grady earlier this year and has been richly rewarded by a series of mature performances from the fiery forward who skippered Sars to a first county success since 1974 last Sunday.
And now Cunningham reckons that returning Tipp boss Babs Keating should hand the armband to O'Grady in 2006.
"That's the new Redser O'Grady," Cunningham said.
