Four approaches to teaching undergraduate courses in introductory international relations are analyzed based on observed reactions of students and their perceived adaptability to global politics. The four methodsstudied were the building blocks, comprehensive, epistemology, paradigmatic approaches. The study indicates that no single approach can be called the most appropriate method to teach international relations. The best approach to teaching the course would be an equitable mix of lectures on international organizations including the UN, world order, philosophies, paradigms, national security and peace studies.
