ALDER Hey is being urged to make "every effort" to save trees and wildlife if it builds a new hospital on a city park.
Talks between health chiefs and senior councillors are to take place, aimed at keeping the much-loved institution in Liverpool.
Alder Hey wants to build a new pounds 300m children's hospital on Springfield Park, West Derby, next to its existing premises.
It says it will move to a site in Widnes if its plans are not backed by Liverpool council.
